How to Defeat Raphael

Solo Raphael with Stealth Archer

This method can work even on a solo honor run reliably for stealth archer. All credit for the plan goes to Morgana Evelyn, check out her amazing fight and run with it.

Preparation:

  • First of all, to do this, you have to get the Helmet of Arcane Acuity in Act 2, so make sure you got that beforehand and have it in your inventory.

  • To prepare you need to collect a bunch of boxes or barrels, at least 5 but would get 6 or 7 to be safe. Make sure you have these in inventory before going to House of Hope.

  • Also bring Arrows of Many Targets.

  • Also you need Scrolls of Hold Monster.

Entering

  • Go to Devil’s Fee.

  • Fly up to roof.

  • Lockpick, go inside.

  • Items

    • Mammon coin northwest (from small chest in bedroom)

    • Marble in the middle (from big chest in main room)

    • Skull to the west (from coffin)

    • Incense to the southeast (from table)

    • Diamond to the northeast (from gilded chest in main room)

Haarlep

  • Sneak up behind him, arrow so he’s suprised, then another couple arrows to crush, can use fiend slaying.

  • But don’t let him get a round in

  • Can make him use opportunity attack so he can’t use his ethereal ability.

Get ready for the fight

  • Double check you have on Crater Gloves, Bhaalist Armor, double Dolors.

  • Equip the Helmet of Arcane Acuity.

  • Put out the crates/barrels.

  • Use an Oil of Accuracy.

  • Shoot the crates/barrels, each is 2 stacks of arcane acuity so shooting 5 should get you 10 stacks arcane acuity.

  • Then press the portal to summon Raphael.

Fight starts

  • Use Hold Monster scroll on him (I had 95% chance for this to work when I did it with 9 stacks arcane acuity).

  • Get close enough for Aura of Murder.

  • Action Surge, Speed Potion, Terazul as needed.

  • Arrow of Many Targets on Raphael, and keep doing it until you win!
